From BER Airport Terminal (see the route here). Your ticket should be for Zones ABC, 5 €.
The easiest connection is to take the S9, which departs every 20 minutes from the airport towards Berlin. Get off at “Warschauer Strasse”. The hotel is on the right side at Stralauer Allee.
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) (see the route here). Your ticket should be for Zones A+B, 4 €.
The closest station to the hotel is “Warschauer Strasse”. The S3, S5, S7, S9 and S75 all reach this station from Berlin Hauptbahnhof.
For those participants who plan to join us on-site and prior to booking flights, registrants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a visa to travel to Berlin. Information about visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website.

October is a beautiful month in Berlin, with the autumn colors vivid throughout the city. However, it is recommended to be prepared to layer! The average daily temperature this month varies. Some days will be warmer, around 16°C (about 60°F). At night the lows start to tease of the coming winter, with temperatures getting down to 10°C (around 50°F).

Registered congress participants are invited to step aboard an exclusive boat cruise through Berlin for a night of connection and celebration. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with dinner, drinks, and dancing as the city lights glide by, offering the perfect setting to meet fellow attendees, continue conversations from the congress, and unwind together.

Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please remember to bring your ticket with you, as only ticket holders will be able to board. The meeting point and boarding time will be provided when you pick up your badge and ticket at our Registration Desk on-site.

Poster Walk and Awards Session
The Poster Walk and Awards Session will take place on Saturday, October 3, beginning at 18:30 at the Poster Area in the Exhibition Area.

Our abstract submission deadline for the 2026 program has passed. All submissions will receive a notice directly if their work is accepted for poster presentation this coming October. The presenting author should prepare to register and attend the congress in order to present their work.
We are excited to announce the COSTEM Best Abstract Awards and the COSTEM Travel Grant for the Best Young Investigator Award. To qualify for the “Young Investigator” award, presenting authors must be under 40 years of age. Eligibility confirmation will be available during the abstract submission process.

The 2026 Program is accredited via the European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH) and by the Ärztekammer Berlin (AEKB) for local physicians.
EBAH
COSTEM 2026 is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH) with 16 EBAH-CME Credit Points. A learner’s questionnaire will be sent to all registered participants to complete. Once this has been completed, the Congress Organizer will confirm your active participation in the COSTEM program with EBAH.

COSTEM 2026 is accredited by the Berlin Chamber of Physicians (Ärztekammer Berlin) with up to 15 CME credits. Please sign in at the Registration Desk each day using your EFN (personal continuing-education number / barcode). The Congress Organizer will confirm your active participation in the COSTEM program with AEKB.
